Recondo delivers SurePayHealth as Software as a Service, meaning we didn't have to buy any additional hardware or wait for a lengthy software installation. Our patient access staff just logs in to SurePayHealth, which helps us deliver an accurate patient calculation right at point of service, including accurate assessment of insurance eligibility, deductible status, co-payments, and out-of-pocket patient expense. SurePayHealth processes calculations from current contracts for virtually all payers, which are loaded into the service, and includes a self-learning rules engine that continuously increases the service's knowledge of the breadth and depth of those contracts.
SurePayHealth reduces bad debt by validating patient identity, recognizing fraud by providing accurate patient information real time, and collecting patient payment up-front. SurePayHealth partners with TransUnion, which provides our patient access staff with address and social security verification for identity fraud reduction, credit history and recommendations for financing and payment plans. SurePayHealth verifies personal information, yields higher collection percentages, increases collections at point of service, reduces collectibles, and helps increase our cash and lower bad debt.
BCH anticipates a total return on investment within six months, meaning that our increasing cash and reducing debt will equal the entire cost of a six-month subscription to the SurePayHealth service.
