Tony Miller began his career at UnitedHealth. He joined Deloitte Consulting, focusing on strategic business development, mergers and acquisitions, and performance turnarounds in the managed care industry. In the late 1990s, Tony co-founded and was CEO of Definity Health, a pioneer and national leader in consumer-driven health benefit programs. Definity was sold to UnitedHealth Group in 2004. In 2006, he founded Carol Corporation and served as its CEO until the company’s sale to OptumHealth.
Jay Deady is Recondo’s Chief Executive Officer. Jay has been a leader, product visionary, and innovator in healthcare information technology for more than 20 years. He most recently served as CEO of Awarepoint, where he grew the company into the leading technology provider in the caregiver and patient asset-flow and capacity-management market. Previously, Jay was Executive Vice President of client solutions for Eclipsys (now Allscripts) where he drove the company’s global go-to-market and solution delivery strategies. He also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of revenue cycle at McKesson Provider Technologies and held management positions with Cerner Corporation and ADAC Healthcare.
Jodi Hubler’s career includes executive experience in a wide range of companies, from international recruiting at Cargill and a vice presidency in a $2 billion division of Alcoa, to the controlled chaos of a venture-backed start-up when she served as chief people officer for Definity Health.
Phil Yates is a Partner at Bregal Sagemount. Prior to this, Phil was with Great Hill Partners from 2003 to 2012 where he focused on growth investments in software and technology-enabled services across the healthcare, payments, business services and consumer verticals. Before Great Hill Partners, Phil was at Carousel Capital, a middle market private equity firm headquartered in Charlotte, NC where he worked on transactions in franchising, healthcare, industrials, and communications. Phil started his career with Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown in the Consumer and Business Services investment banking group.
Pavan Tripathi is a Vice President at Bregal Sagemount, where he is focused on originating and underwriting investments in the healthcare, digital infrastructure, software, and specialty finance sectors. Previously, Pavan worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an investment banker and private equity investor. Most recently, he was a member of the Growth Equity team in Goldman Sachs’ Merchant Banking Division where he focused primarily on high-growth software and communication infrastructure businesses.
Hamilton Shawn serves as Executive Director of Corporate Strategy for the Advisory Board Company. His primary focus is developing and launching new ventures to support the firm’s growth objectives.
Previously, Mr. Shawn developed and executed the growth strategy for the Advisory Board’s Revenue Cycle Solutions division, including the development and acquisition of several performance technology products. He also managed the Advisory Board’s finance practice, authoring research and delivering presentations for finance executives. He has authored publications on multiple topics, including reducing supply cost, mitigating innovation risk, managing undercompensated care, hardwiring financial accountability, and minimizing budget variances.
Michael Farris is President – North America & Chief Commercial Officer, of Healthways Inc. He is responsible for sales, marketing, account management and delivery operations of all services across the company’s domestic markets. Michael has more than 25 years of healthcare industry experience, and has been a driving force in the development, growth and transformation of healthcare organizations, providing expertise in creating strategies that align hospitals, physicians groups and payor partners toward optimal care delivery.
