Kathleen Brenk Joins Recondo as Chief Human Resources Officer

Recondo Technology, the leading provider of cloud-based revenue cycle connectivity and applications, today announced that Kathleen Brenk has joined the company as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), a new role.

As CHRO, Brenk will report directly to Recondo CEO Jay Deady and will work with the company’s leadership team to continue to build a culture focused on supporting professionals and providing an environment where employees can thrive. Much of her effort will focus on strategies to attract and retain the best people at Recondo.

“The new CHRO position is a critical role that will align our core values to the company’s strategies and how we operate on a day-to-day basis,” said Deady. “We believe Kathleen is uniquely qualified for this new role. Her experience over the course of her career will help us take Recondo’s HR function to the next level, and just as important, help us meet the increasing human resource demands of our growing company.”

Brenk joins Recondo from Trust Company of America (TCA), a 43-year-old firm providing registered investment advisors with fully integrated real-time technology, consultative services and back office support. Brenk served as TCA’s vice president of people and culture. Under her direction, TCA introduced a new approach to people management that emphasized empowerment and a lack of hierarchy. As a result, turnover fell from 23 percent to 13 percent in two years.

Previously, Brenk served as senior HR manager of Business HR at Baxa Corporation, a medical device company. In this role, she integrated Baxa’s core principles to launch a new performance management system and led the company’s change management strategy following an acquisition by Baxter Healthcare. Kathleen has also held HR positions at EchoStar/DISH Network, The Home Depot, and High Speed Access Corp.

In 2014, Brenk was named one of the “Most Powerful and Influential Women” in Colorado by the Colorado Diversity Council. She serves on the board of Rocky Mountain HR People & Strategy, a professional organization for senior human resources professionals in the Rocky Mountain region. Brenk is a graduate of Marymount University with a liberal arts degree concentrating on psychology and human development. Her numerous certifications include the Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification, Risk Management, SPHR Certification, and Kenexa 360 Coaching.
