SSI and Recondo Technology collaborate to automate claim status follow-up and accelerate payments for hospitals

Mobile, AL — June 22, 2015 — Recondo Technology, a leading provider of cloud-based revenue cycle connectivity and applications, and The SSI Group, Inc. (SSI), an industry leader in revenue cycle management solutions, announced today they have entered into an agreement for SSI to resell Recondo’s automated claim status solution as an additional component within SSI’s suite of revenue cycle solutions to further accelerate payment and increase back office efficiency for SSI’s customers.

The availability of Recondo’s ClaimStatusPlus® solution will provide SSI’s existing customers with additional claim status information that resolves common delays in payment while streamlining workflow. ClaimStatusPlus leverages Recondo’s patented Reconbot™ technology to automatically query payer websites and then retrieve, normalize and present critical information about claim status.

The solution provides potentially faster notification of claim status, detailed explanations of the problems with each denied claim, and workflow triggers that guide staff in remediating partially and fully denied claims. As a result, SSI customers can achieve meaningful reductions in write-offs, denied claims, and A/R Days, along with higher staff productivity driven by exceptions-based processing.

“SSI is excited about the addition of enhanced claim status information to its revenue cycle portfolio,” said Jimmy Lyons, President and CEO of SSI. “In our continued drive to deliver value to our customers, we believe that additional portal-derived status information can make a meaningful difference. This additional functionality will provide both timely and actionable information for our clients.”

“Healthcare providers can no longer afford to wait to be notified that a claim needs a minor adjustment to be payable; they need SSI’s revenue cycle solutions plus true touchless automation of the claim status process to efficiently speed payment,” said Jay Deady, CEO of Recondo. “Partnering with SSI was a logical decision for us based on their robust suite of products and their large provider base. Our combined strengths will give our customers across the country a seamless method to achieve true claim follow-up automation.” the next level by automatically querying payer websites and then retrieving, normalizing and presenting critical information about eligibility, authorization and claim status.

“It’s clear that Recondo’s growing sales reach has provided market momentum for our innovative, indemand solutions,” said Recondo CEO Jay Deady. “The provider market needs solutions that help them streamline and accelerate the revenue cycle, which is exactly what Recondo delivers. We look forward to working with all of our existing and new clients to help drive performance improvements across their organizations.”
