Jay Deady
Jay Deady

Chief Executive Officer & Board Member

Jay has been a leader, product visionary, and innovator in healthcare information technology for more than 25 years. He most recently served as CEO of Awarepoint, where he grew the company into the leading technology provider in the caregiver and patient asset-flow and capacity-management market. Previously, Jay was Executive Vice President of client solutions for Eclipsys (now Allscripts) where he drove the company’s global go-to-market and solution delivery strategies. He also served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of revenue cycle at McKesson Provider Technologies and held management positions with Cerner Corporation and ADAC Healthcare.

Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University and is a graduate of the Global Executive Management program of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Heather Kawamoto
Heather Kawamoto

Chief Product Officer

In her role as Chief Product Officer, Heather drives strategy for Recondo’s full product portfolio, including defining the go-to-market strategy for all new products, and monitoring performance to ensure customer value and market adoption. She is responsible for the definition and management of solutions to drive profitability and achieve organizational growth targets. Heather manages key personnel and departmental functions, including product owners, business analysts, technical writers, marketing and inside sales. Heather previously served as Vice President of Product Management and Marketing, and as Vice President of Client Services at Recondo Technology, and has held roles in product management at Sybase and New Era of Networks.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Colorado Boulder and is a member of the HIMSS Revenue Cycle Taskforce.

Craig Niemiec
Craig Niemiec

Chief Financial Officer

Craig has an extensive background and track record of success in technology, business, managed services and consulting organizations. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for AxisPoint Health, IMDSoft and U.S. Preventative Medicine. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President and CFO at McKesson Technology Solutions for nine years, where he partnered with the President to transform the business after restatement by focusing on product rationalization and strategy, customer stabilization and growth, employee retention, process and system improvements, and acquisitions.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Michigan.

Perry Sweet
Perry Sweet

Chief Operations Officer

Perry oversees global customer operations including professional services and education. Perry has decades of proven experience leading professional services units that break records in revenue and customer satisfaction. He joined Recondo from Allscripts, where he was Vice President of Services, Support and Account Management for the company’s Population Health and Community Solutions. Previous to that role and Allscripts’ acquisition of Eclipsys, Perry was responsible for the growth of Professional Services at Eclipsys, including the Electronic Health Record, Revenue Cycle, and Decision Support businesses. As Vice President of First Consulting Group’s Midwest division, Perry grew services revenue by 300 percent over a four-year period. He began his career at IBM, where he held a series of progressively more senior leadership roles over 16 years including Healthcare Channel Business Unit Executive.

Perry holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.

Eldon Richards
Eldon Richards

Chief Technology Officer

Eldon is responsible for the company’s overall technology strategy, direction, and execution. Eldon has extensive experience in forming teams that excel at swiftly responding to market technology needs and continuously improving quality. Eldon joined Recondo from PatientPoint, a leader in patient engagement solutions, where he led product development and technology teams across the enterprise as Executive Vice President of Product and Technology. Previously, he led the technology team for the Care Coordination Solutions business at PatientPoint, and various organizations at Unitedhealth Group. Eldon’s career at Unitedhealth Group spanned 18 years, including leading worldwide teams that developed groundbreaking products such as Optum’s Enterprise Computer Assisted Coding, and successfully deployed hundreds of production releases every year.

Eldon holds a Bachelor of Arts in computer science from the University of Utah, an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and a master’s certificate in project management from George Washington University.

Jodi Hubler, Chair of the Board

Lemhi Ventures

Jodi Hubler’s career includes executive experience in a wide range of companies, from international recruiting at Cargill and a vice presidency in a $2 billion division of Alcoa, to the controlled chaos of a venture-backed start-up when she served as chief people officer for Definity Health. She is currently the Managing Director of Lemhi Ventures, a health care services fund formed by a team of experienced innovators, entrepreneurs, and executives and a principal investor in Recondo Technology. Jodi is widely recognized for her keen insight, direct communication, and skillful stewardship of organizations from incubated start-ups to multi-billion-dollar corporations. She delivers a unique combination of executive leadership and venture capital investing expertise with direct experience in operations, governance, human capital, culture change, negotiations, and strategic planning and execution. As a strategic advisor and mentor to entrepreneurs and CEOs, she is especially adept at leading and governing in industries facing transformative change.

Jodi currently serves on the boards of Lemhi Ventures portfolio companies Bind, Digital Reasoning, PokitDok, and PlanSource, and serves as Chair of Recondo Technology. She previously served as a member or Chair of seven additional Lemhi portfolio company boards. She also currently serves on the boards of CaringBridge, Central Logic, DHIT Global and Medical Alley Association. Jodi is a frequent conference panelist and is a member of the Healthcare Executives Leadership Network and Women Business Leaders in Health Care Foundation.

Randy Schmidt, Board Member

Lemhi Ventures

Randy Schmidt enjoyed a long career in accounting, underwriting and provider network management with Prudential Healthcare before assuming a series of CFO posts in companies including publicly held eBenX and privately held Definity Health. He has led finance, accounting, underwriting, actuarial and compliance teams, and has played key roles in private equity investments, asset acquisitions, and negotiated exits. Randy earned a B.A. from Minnesota State University-Mankato and was a Certified Public Accountant. He previously served on the boards of ABILITY Network, Carol Corporation, DestinationRx, OneHealth Solutions, Sandlot Solutions, and TransEngen.

Randy currently serves as a board observer of Bind, a board member of Recondo Technology, and as Chair of the board of PlanSource.

Phil Yates, Board Member

Bregal Sagemount

Phil Yates is a Partner at Bregal Sagemount. Prior to this, Phil was with Great Hill Partners from 2003 to 2012 where he focused on growth investments in software and technology-enabled services across the healthcare, payments, business services and consumer verticals. Before Great Hill Partners, Phil was at Carousel Capital, a middle market private equity firm headquartered in Charlotte, NC where he worked on transactions in franchising, healthcare, industrials, and communications. Phil started his career with Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown in the Consumer and Business Services investment banking group.

Curt Witte, Board Member

Bregal Sagemount

Curt Witte is the Head of Portfolio Operations for Bregal Sagemount with a focus on partnering with portfolio company management to drive high yield operations enhancement. Prior to joining Bregal Sagemount, he was an Operating Partner at Symphony Technology Group, where he focused on portfolio company operations enhancement for various tech businesses in eCommerce, business services, health care IT, mobile apps, and advertising. Prior to Symphony Technology Group, Curt founded and scaled Findly (profitable $50 million revenue on-demand software company) through its merger, and successful spinoff, from First Advantage, a Symphony Technology Group company.

Hamilton Shawn, Board Member

Optum

Hamilton Shawn serves as Executive Director of Corporate Strategy for the Advisory Board Company, now part of Optum. His primary focus is developing and launching new ventures to support the firm’s growth objectives. Previously, Mr. Shawn developed and executed the growth strategy for the Advisory Board’s Revenue Cycle Solutions division, including the development and acquisition of several performance technology products. He also managed the Advisory Board’s finance practice, authoring research and delivering presentations for finance executives.

He has authored publications on multiple topics, including reducing supply cost, mitigating innovation risk, managing under-compensated care, hardwiring financial accountability, and minimizing budget variances.
